Can I use the cargo box for travelling through Europe?
Yes. Our towbar cargo boxes are suitable for travel throughout Europe. Some countries have specific rules for overhanging loads or marker boards — we are happy to think along with you before you leave.
Do I need a marker board?
Some countries, such as Spain and Italy, require a red-and-white marker board when the load protrudes. In most other countries it is not required. We advise per destination.
Does a cargo box fit on every towbar?
It fits most fixed and detachable towbars. The maximum load depends on the noseweight of your car and towbar, so always check your car's manual. If in doubt, we will check with you.
Do I need a 7-pin or 13-pin socket?
The boxes come with a 13-pin connector and a 13-to-7-pin adapter, so both types work.
Where do I pick up the cargo box?
Pick-up is by appointment in Nijmegen. We show you how to mount it on the towball, connect the lighting and tilt it for boot access — usually in about 15 minutes.
What about the deposit?
A €200 deposit applies. You get it back in full when the box is returned complete, clean and undamaged.
How does the price work?
You pay a daily rate that drops the longer you rent. Rates start at €7–€9 per day for short rentals and go down to €3–€5 per day for long periods.
Is a cargo box better than a roof box?
For most trips, yes. It adds no height, is easier to load, causes less wind noise and costs less range on an electric car. A roof box only wins if you have no towbar.
